DAY 1: BRUSSELS - TBILISSI

Arrival in Tbilisi airport and friendly welcome with your guide. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.


DAY 2: TBILISSI - CITY TOUR

Breakfast and guided tour of the Georgian capital. You will discover Samba Tbilisi Cathedral, the largest Caucasian cathedral, Metkhi Church - built on the cliff overlooking the river and the "Abanotubani" sulfur bath district. Take the cable car to visit the Narikala fortress, followed by a visit to the Shardeni district (cafes and art galleries), the Peace Bridge and Léselidze Street. Finally, stroll on the main artery of the city, Rustaveli Avenue. Overnight in Tbilisi.


DAY 3: TBILISSI - MTSKHETA - ANANURI - KAZBEGI - GUDAURI (150 KM)

After breakfast, visit of the Mtskheta, a former religious center. Continue to Kazbegi, from where you can see Mount Mkinvartsveri (5,047 m). On the way stop at the Trinity Church of Gergeti, located at 2170m above sea level with a breathtaking view of Kazbegi and the Darial Gorge. Road to Gudauri and visit of Anauri Castle (on request). Dinner and overnight in Gudauri.


DAY 4: GUDAURI - GORI - UPLISTSIKHE - TBILISSI (270 KM)

Breakfast and departure to the town of Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Visit his birthplace and his personal collections. Road to the cave town of Uplistsikhe, a town carved out of a rock. Return to Tbilisi and visit the National Museum of Georgia. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 5: TBILISSI - TELAVI - GREMI - SIGHNAGHI - BODBE - TBILISSI (300 KM)

Breakfast and departure to Telavi, a town famous for its picturesque views of the Caucasus range and the Batoni fortress. Visit of the wine cellar and tasting of Qvevri wine. Then visit Sighnaghi, a small town famous for its eclectic architecture and handicrafts. Return to Tbilisi and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6: TBILISSI - SADAKHLO - HAGHPAT - SANAHIN - DILIJAN (220 KM)

Breakfast and departure to the Armenian border in Sadakhlo. Visit the monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat, UNESCO heritage. Arrival in Dilijan, walking tour of the city. Dinner and overnight in Dilijan.


DAY 7: DILIJAN - SEVAN - NORADOUZ - SELIM - TATEV - GORIS

After breakfast, departure to Lake Sevan at 1900 m altitude and one of the largest altitude lakes in the world. On the road, visit Noradouz to see the collection of Armenian khachkars (cross on stones). Take the cable car (the longest in the world) to visit Tatev Monastery, one of the most beautiful monasteries of the Middle Ages and known at the time for its university. Road to Goris. Overnight in Goris.


DAY 8: GORIS - NORAVANK - ARENI - KHOR VIRAP - EREVAN (270 KM)

Breakfast and departure to the ornithological region of Noravank. Visit of the Noravank monastery, UNESCO heritage, followed by a visit to the Areni caves and discovery of the oldest wine cellars in the world. Armenian wine tasting. Road to the Ararat region. Arrival in Khor Virap, city linked to the history of the Christianization of the Armenian people. It is also the perfect place to admire one of the most beautiful views of Mount Ararat. Arrival in Yerevan and overnight at the hotel.


DAY 9: EREVAN - EDJMIATSIN - ZVARTNOC - EREVAN (120 KM)

After breakfast, visit the Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the Armenian spiritual center and UNESCO heritage. Visit of the Zvartnots site, built between 642 and 662 and partially destroyed by an earthquake. Visit the remains of the Amberd citadel located in the Kasakh canyon. Return to Yerevan and overnight at the hotel.


DAY 10: EREVAN - GARNI - GUÉGHARD - EREVAN (120 KM)

After breakfast, visit the Matenadaran Institute for Ancient Manuscripts. Visit the Tsitsernakaberd museum and monument commemorating the 1915 Armenian genocide. Departure to Garni and visit its pagan temple. Participate in an Armenian bread-making workshop. Visit the monastery of Guéghard. Return to Yerevan. Stroll through the city and overnight at the hotel.


DAY 11: EREVAN - BRUSSELS

Breakfast, free time and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
