A luxuriant and wild vegetation, a unique fauna, cover of life these expanses of water and earth. The environment is very lively, the sky is streaked with cross paths of pelicans, swans, cormorants, shelducks, egrets, white-tailed eagles. In the waters you can see bream, sturgeon, perch, pike, carp. In the reeds live turtles, snakes, vipers, beavers, foxes, nutria, boars, badgers. To sum up, there are no less than 3450 species of animals including 160 species of fish (ie 98% of European aquatic fauna), 300 species of birds and 1150 of plants.
